100 Nights in Velnaris — A Solo Book of Encounters

One hundred nights, written to be played alone. No GM, no oracle, no other engine.

The last shutter drops along Coinrow, and a silk broker draws out a bolt of night-blue cloth she prices for no one before dark. Midnight bars the cloth hall with you inside it. At a money-changer's cage, a debt of six crowns and a blank contract: the terms of one hour left empty for you to fill.

What You Roll

A d100 book of one hundred explicit encounters written in second person, present tense: scenes that happen to you. Every card carries its own resolution engine. Read the scene, pick how you meet it, roll one die, live the outcome.

• The scene — a second-person premise that ends on a choice
• Your partner — a named, grown, consenting adult, in one line
• Three branches — Engage, Wary or Refuse, each opening with an Approach
• The 1d6 ladder — under each branch, three written outcomes: 5–6 clean, 3–4 at a cost, 1–2 a complication
• Afterglow — one line to keep in your journal: a memory, an object, a reputation

Who It's For

Solo players who want a night in Velnaris without a GM or a second book. The machine is portable: rename a district and the night still runs. Any card can also drop onto a table: a GM reads the scene aloud, the player picks a branch, the die rolls in the open.

18+. Frankly explicit, open door: when a night goes to the bed, the card names it plainly. Every partner is a grown, consenting adult, written with their interiority intact.

Agency is absolute. Refusing is always a real scene with its own outcomes, never a punishment. Skip & Redraw any card, any time, no reason owed. A low roll never ends the night; it opens a different one.
