Credits

Fantasy Vixens is one person, writing and designing under the pen name Lorenza Nevada. There is no studio behind the curtain — and this page exists so you don't have to guess what that means for the books.

Writing & game design

All prose, all mechanics, all worldbuilding: written and designed by Lorenza Nevada. The systems in these books — Heat & Trust, the Four Doors, HEARTS, Les Cinq Aveux — were designed at a real table, for a real group, before they were ever formatted for sale. Several of them exist because a session went somewhere the rules didn't cover.

Playtesting

Every published module has been played. The regular table is a group of five players who have run this material in campaign play — the mechanics you can read in the rules reference are the ones that survived contact with them, not the ones that sounded good in a draft. They have asked not to be named individually for now; if that changes, their names go here first.

Editing & translation

Editing is done in multiple passes by the author, with AI tools used for copy-editing and corrections — the same way a spell-checker or a style linter would be, with every suggestion reviewed before it lands. French editions are translated with AI assistance and then reviewed and reworked by hand; the author is a native French speaker.

Art & illustration

Cover art and character illustration are AI-generated (Midjourney), directed through iterative prompt work, curation and selection by the author. Every product page and book that uses generated imagery carries a disclosure line.

Layout & production

Print and PDF layout in Affinity Publisher. The website is a hand-built static site generator (Python and Jinja2), open in spirit if not yet in repository.

Where AI is used — and where it is not

The distinction matters more than the label, so here it is exactly:

AI is not used for game design, mechanics, encounter and NPC design, or the structure of any book. Those come from play.

AI is used for copy-editing and corrections, French translation (reviewed by a native speaker — the author), and image generation for covers and character art.

If that distribution ever changes, this page changes with it.
