A hundred secrets the city is keeping — told frankly, and meant to be weaponized.

A guildmistress keeps a bolt-book of which journeymen she takes on the night shift, and it sits unlocked in her cutting-room every night. Somewhere in the temple, a vow chaste in public has frayed in private, and someone poor already knows the price of that silence.

100 Dirty Little Secrets is a d100 rumor mill — not an encounter table. Every roll is a card: a secret someone is keeping, the trail to learn it, what it's worth once you know, what it costs to wield, and whether it's even true. They're levers — to buy, trade, spend, and regret.

Anatomy of a Secret

• Subject & role — the named figure the secret is about, and what they are in the city.
• The secret — the rumor itself, named plainly.
• Who's telling — the witness or trail a PC follows to confirm it.
• What it's worth — the seat, vote, favor, or ruin the secret can buy.
• The price — what it costs to learn or to wield, in coin and in who owns you after.
• Veracity — true, half, or false.
• The lie — on half and false cards only, the loaded lie welded on.

A companion "Spending a secret" table tells you what the target does when the lever lands and escalates each time the same secret is pulled twice.

18+. Frankly explicit: bodies, acts, kinks, and scandals are named in plain language, with no closed-door layer. Every sexual figure is an adult. Where consent is missing or bought under duress, the card says so plainly. Minors appear only as non-sexual collateral, never sexualized. No card is required reading: session-zero the register, use lines & veils and a visible X-card, and honor a skip immediately, no reason owed.
