Heroes of Velnaris — Seven Pregenerated Characters

Velnaris does not invite. It selects.

Heroes of Velnaris is a folio of seven complete characters at level 5, each carrying a private hunger the city has already noticed. Hand any sheet across a table and run the night without a session zero.

Inside (~26 pages)

• Seven full sheets on the 2024 rules: ability scores, attacks and initiative lines, origin feats, equipment, one uncommon magic item each, and signature class features
• A public face and a private reason for each character — what the player reads, and a separate For the GM section with the hook, the confession for the threshold ritual, and the one secret that puts the table on the line
• Optional party ties: a Session Zero menu of relationships between the seven
• Lines & veils language on every sheet, so groups who want to lean into mature themes can negotiate quickly

Built for Forbidden Love, the first chapter of Shadows of Desire, and for any Velnaris table: three of the seven map onto a background from Backgrounds of Velnaris (Courtesan, Dream-Touched, Plague Doctor) if you want the city path beside the PHB one.

Version 1.2 (September 2026)

All seven sheets benched against the 2024 Player's Handbook: feats instanced, attack and initiative lines added, two sheets moved off the 2014 skeleton. Player-facing pages no longer name what only the GM should know; relationship hooks moved under For the GM. Free update for existing buyers.
