100 Sensual Wilderness Encounters
Strangers on the Road. The stranger at the ford, the thing in the wood, and the fire shared at night — all of them carry a charge.
At dusk on the Ash Road a lone peddler crouches over a split wheel and flags you down without reaching for a weapon. Wade Mornwick Ford at last light and a woman in wet white stands mid-current, patient as someone owed a debt.
This is a d100 book of travel and wilderness encounters for the wild lands beyond the city gate — not a neutral weather-and-ambush table, but a hundred charged, relational beats. Built for the roads around Velnaris but system-neutral: rename a landmark and the wild is yours.
One Format, All 100 Rolls
- Read to the table — the in-world moment, ready to read aloud.
- The entity — a one-line sketch: Opening move and Want.
- Engage — closed door — the suggestive rendering; it crests, then fades to black.
- Engage — open door — the same beat at explicit heat. Pick one, never both.
- Stay wary / Refuse — hold the tension cold, or ride on and carry the road cost.
- World — the hard local custom of the road.
- Sign — the tell that lets a watchful party spot the encounter coming.
- Aftermath — the token or consequence that follows you down the road.

Dual Register & Safety
18+. Every encounter carries the same beat at two heat levels: closed door crests and cuts away on a fade; open door plays the scene explicit. You pick per scene, by table comfort, not by the roll. Attraction on the road is always an offer, never a compulsion, with a graceful exit every time. A one-line session-zero opener, lines & veils, and a visible X-card (or a "fade faster" signal) are part of how this book is meant to be played.
